Yes! You’ve found what you were looking for! Dmitri and Maryna Kubyshkin Piano School was founded in 1997 in Vancouver, BC. Our teaching approach is based on a unique method, created by Dmitri Kubyshkin. The best traditions of Russian and European piano schools are accumulated in this method, which allows one to play at a professional level in a short period of time. More than 200 students have being taught already. Many of them chose music as their profession. All students have a chance to perform twice a year (January, June) at our recitals at the Tom Lee Music concert hall. Every year, our students take prizes at competitions and festivals, such as Burnaby Clef, Kiwanis and Canadian music Competition (CMC). More advanced students have a chance to perform concertos for piano and orchestra. In the recent years alone, the following concertos were performed: #1,2,3 by Beethoven, #1,2 by Rachmaninov, #2 by Saint-Saens, F-minor and D-Minor by Bach, as well as numerous concertos by Mozart and Haydn. Piano playing develops both sides of your brain, makes you smarter and increases your intelligence and acuity. We teach in Vancouver, Surrey, White Rock, Richmond, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Burnaby. We prepare students for all levels of piano playing and theoretical rudiments for the Royal Conservatory of Music and ABRSM exams. We also provide College and University preparation.
